The Silent Night

Xia Yihan sat by the window, quietly watching the nurse install the bed. The new bed was foldable, making it convenient and portable. After being flattened, it was the same size as a normal hospital bed.

The nurse laid out the new sheets, brought a cool quilt, a pitcher of lemon tea, and two glasses. She arranged them as if she were arranging a place to lie on at the beach, minus the umbrella.
